I bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband at a time when we really needed to reconnect with one another. i spent a long time hunting for a piece of art that would show unity, compassion, passion, and affection, but without being cutesy or involving a heart-shape. This really struck a cord, and seemed to strike my husband as well. It now sits on our coffee table in our high traffic TV room, and i see it every day.

My egg looked almost exactly like picture so i was not disappointed like i was with the round piece i also ordered. I realize these all come from nature so will be different. I still liked both so will keep them in my bedroom. The egg doesnt stand up by itself so i had to use some museum goop to help it stand.
