"Our forefathers believed turtles bring good luck," explains Tina Quaye. "They said that if you were lost at sea, turtles would surely guide you back to dry land." Quaye sculpts the turtle from onyx featuring a cheerful face for the lucky creatures.

"Lucky Me!"

Lucky me to have ?Lucky Russet?! He arrived with a cute smile on his sweet little face and I smile every time I look at him. He is far more handsome than the photograph (that must have been his brother in the picture). The onyx is beautiful and perfectly crafted to bring out the pattern and strata of the stone. He is a bit smaller than described, nevertheless, a handsome fellow and beautifully sculpted. Kudos to the artist!

I recently purchsed a stretch bracelet from Tin Quaye named Naa Awula Rose. It is made from rosewood, and is a true work of art. The wood is so lightweight, although quite substantial, The sound it makes when the pieces bump each other is almost musical.
