With beautiful speckled blue hues, round beads of dyed lapis lazuli are punctuated by shining brass beads, strung along a wide wristband of braided brown cord that circles the wrist. Thai artisan Tiraphan Hasub crafts this beaded bracelet by hand, closing it with an adjustable button clasp made of rain tree wood, accented with colorful glass beads.

Tiraphan has thyroid disease. She tires easily and sometimes it is difficult to to find the energy for everything. Yet she refuses to let it compromise her work.

Tiraphan has steadily grown her jewelry project and now provides work for other artisans in her community.

the bracelet i received looked nothing like the one ordered very disappointing will not order anything again due to the expense and time consumed in sending anything back. the color was a very dark dull navy , so sad!!!
