Indonesian Batik and Bead Cotton Tote Bag, "Princess Art"
Bright flowers blossom in the emerald garden that adorns this tote bag. Wahyu Sulistiani uses traditional batik techniques with the Hokokai and Kembang sore patterns. The florid hokakai motif was developed during the Japanese colonization of Java and has since remained a much favored motif. Kembang sore (evening flower) is the name of the princess who, according to legend, was the daughter of a hermit, and was famous for her batik art. The lined shoulder bag has one pocket inside and is decorated with golden beads.
Features a magnetic snap as well as a regular button closure to adapt according to how much is in the tote.

"Beautiful"
Pictures don't do this bag justice, the skill it took to do the beadwork is undeniable. She could include a dozen business cards in each bag, I get so many complements, I'd be handing them out like candy.

"Outstanding Bag"
Feel honored to own it. The detailed work is beautiful and unique. Green is darker than picture but thats ok; makes it a bit more neutral. A perfect example of why to shop at Novica.

"Wonderful beaded work"
This is so beautifully hand crafted. The beaded work especially. I so love this purse. The colors speak of a colorful and joyful spirit. I have recommended Novica to others. I especially loved and appreciated the added touch of the hand made ornament and the gift wrap. Felt like my birthday. Thanks!
