Thai designer Tiraphan Hasub selects a bright palette of colors for these wristband bracelets. She weaves each one by hand with brass beads and brown cords. One bracelet has pink and blue dyed quartz, the other has black agate and dyed purple quartz. Both fasten with coconut shell buttons.

Tiraphan has thyroid disease. She tires easily and sometimes it is difficult to to find the energy for everything. Yet she refuses to let it compromise her work.

Tiraphan has steadily grown her jewelry project and now provides work for other artisans in her community.
