Seen in silhouette, stepped fret motifs known as Xicalcoliuhqui enclose graceful spirals. Francisco Sánchez bases his original design on cylindrical stamps discovered in Tenochtitlan, today Mexico City; such stamps were originally used on gourds. The artisan transforms shining Mexican silver into a dramatic cuff bracelet.
.925 Sterling silver
Francisco Sanchez has received 6 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $3500 and the most recent for $3400. Proceeds were used to purchase silver and natural gemstones for his jewelry.
