Featuring geometric embroidered deer next to a maize plant, this wallet from Guatemala is handwoven on the backstrap loom from cotton, with multicolored stripes against a teal body. Opening with a magnetic snap, the wallet features a striped cotton lining with six compartments for credit cards, two compartments for paper bills, and a zipper pocket for coins. The women at Cotzal Artisan Cooperative present the wallet, working together to improve their economic status.
