Expressive and mystical, this mask personifies a shaman from Peru's Vicus culture, which flourished between 500 B.C. and 500 A.D. Walter Jose Acosta crafts a stunning ceramic replica, which he paints with natural pigments. The mask is then buried in the ground for a few days to achieve a weathered look.
