Details

Nine carats of faceted blue topaz sparkle in this elegant cuff bracelet from Bali. Artisan Dewa Arimbawa handcrafts the sterling silver accessory with a pretty motif of swirling vines that decorates the inner length of the cuff. Either end of the bracelet is adorned with one pear-shaped and one oval blue topaz, which glisten from within bezel settings. Four drop-shaped accents of 18k gold complete the opulent design, which also features a concealed hinge at the center making the lovely cuff easy to wear.

Your Purchase Makes a Difference!

Dewa and his employees are entirely dependent upon Novica sales to provide for themselves and their families.

Dewa is a talented jewelry artisan who inherited his love of the arts from his grandfather. He draws his design inspiration from Balinese architecture and textile design and uses traditional techniques, such as repousse, wax carving, jawan and bon to create his unique collection of contemporary jewelry. He is always eager to teach these skills to anyone interested in learning the art of jewelry making. Dewa's dream is for his work to be internationally known and, in this way, to help preserve the art of Balinese silversmithing.

Dewa has steadily grown his workshop since joining Novica. He now has assistants and silversmiths who work with him. He is determined to grow his workshop and find international recognition for his unique jewelry collection.

Dewa Arimbawa has received 2 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2200 and the most recent for $5000.

In 2017 Dewa received an Australian award for Jewelry Design and Business Readiness.
