Handcrafted and painted ceramic figurines in Thailand
"Think about this. A ceramic sculpture... may be the work of a single artisan, [yet] it brings benefits to the entire community.""Think about this. A ceramic sculpture can be something small yet many people are involved in its creation. And while it may be the work of a single artisan, it brings benefits to the entire community.
"I'm Krich Buasuk from Thailand. I've been interested in contemporary arts since childhood. Now, I teach my own students how to draw.
"I also have a ceramic workshop, and each of my designs arises from the cooperation of many. Someone digs the clay and prepares it. I craft sculptures and figurines, and sometimes students come in to help paint them. Thus, each piece has its own story.
"Shoppers who buy a work of art receive happiness and satisfaction. But they also help a creative person continue the artisan tradition. You help maintain the value of our work and we are happy each time you view our online portfolios."
